Theres nothing more comfy than wearing an oversized shirt as a dress. I love the feeling of being free. I don’t care much if the shirt is kinda seetrhu so I make sure I match my underwear in the same color palette as the shirt! Embroidery is one of my biggest loves, everything that has details, flowers and colors. This Johnny Was Boyfriend Shirt Dress is everything I want to wear. Some Valentino flats and a Vintage Gucci and I am ready for the day! Messy hair don’t care 😉
I have been shopping this brand since 2013, when I discovered it by accident. I was looking for a brand that would let me customize the length or height of the garment because I’m only 5’2 and I have to alter my pants and dresses most of the time. So I came across this website, and I found paradise. They have awesome prints and designs and you can customize literally everything.
They relaunched their website this year and added two more styles to the abroad selection that they had before, so now you can shop Contemporary and Bohemian. They also introduced new categories like jumpsuits which are my favourite and If you know me I’m all for Boho Looks. I love embroideries, flowy fabrics and prints, and being comfy, so I’m really excited. As I was scrolling thru their webpage, I am already falling in love with a couple of items and I want to share them with you!
FOR MY READERS ONLY: If you liked this pieces as much as I do, you can get a $35 coupon at their webstore www.eshakti.com using CODE VINDES35 at check out! Enjoy your summer and be comfy and boho chic 😉
I came across this cool spot on Decatur, Ga. It is a very old antique shop with a very cool backyard. The shops offer all kinds of antiques and old finds. For those who love antiques like me, this spot is worth seeing. Located between the Dekalb’s Farmers Market and the
Anthony’s Pizza if you want to find different, very original antiques this is the spot to be 🙂 and also it was nice enjoying a nice backyard!!!

Autumn is leaving us behind and opening the doors to a very cold winter. Perfect days are the sunny days full of warm rays of light that nourishes our spirits. Today I went for a fun adventure. SkyView Atlanta. Where you can ride this gigantic ferris wheel and see the whole city. It was really fun and I had a blast! Truly recommend to do it if you are in town or visiting for the holidays.
I was wearing an embroidered shirt by American Rag, leggins by American Apparel, Faux Fur by Loft, Rebecca Minkoff Bag, Corso Como High Knee Boots and Channel sunnies. Bunny cellphone case by Moschino.
Go and explore your city, it always has something new to show you!

Being comfortable and fashionable is a luxury. I like to dress up, but I also like to feel relaxed, specially when I know I have long days ahead. I opted for a dress by Velvet, really hippie but feminine. New Balance Sneakers, reference 420 for a sporty-dressy look. Added some touch ups with make up, and I am ready for the day.
Atlanta has beautiful places, it is a modern city with hints of old architecture and lots of nature and great food. I love to explore the city every time I get a chance; Walking thru its streets is defenetly a pleasure. Here I am, wearing a striped top with leather sleeves from JCrew, denim jeans by JBrand, stiletto heels by Aldo and bag by Longchamp. And with my pink hair on the sides which I love!
I discovered an awesome location to take pictures. This Virginia Highlands Flower School was perfect for a shoot scenario. They had an amazing set up. I was wearing a tribal print dress by Urban Outfitters, jelly shoes by American Apparel and Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. Simple and fun! If any of you is interested in learning floral school, this place is perfect to learn this beautiful art! find them on instagram @faithflowersatl.

“Inspired by world cultures, the arts, and historical dressmaker techniques, this JOHNNY WAS design transcends fashion trends with its beautifully crafted embroidery and one-of-a-kind accessories. Embracing the quintessential California bohemian lifestyle, JOHNNY WAS appeals to the modern gypsy”. This brand captures my essence all the way. Boho-chic clothing fit for ones daily wardrobe all the way.
This dress embroidery is very detailed with vibrant colors and the fabric has an amazing flow. Reminds me of Emmylou Harris and Bob Marley at the same time. It has that Jamaican vibe.
I combined the dress with some blue socks and oxford’s with wooden high heels from Hinge, Russian Red lipstick from MAC, and pink chunks on my hair with Crazy Color. Eyes bracelet by El’Aura Store, find it on instagram @elaurastore, and turquoise beaded bracelet by colombian designer Mercedes Salazar.

Changing is one of my favorite things to do. I can’t stand looking the same, or being the same for too long. I have to move on daily, and part of those changes are expressed thru fashion, hair, makeup and looks. Hair is one of the things that I like to change the most. I get bored with the same look, so I go from pink to blonde, in a heart bit without thinking it too much! This time I went to my darling sister and Hair Expert, Cristina Hernandez. She’s great with hair, and makeup. For this particular look, she dared to mix three different colors to have that perfect beach blonde. Using Wella lightener 40% Vol. 8-1 with 20% Vol. on roots, and toner 12+10 with pearl, ashy violet and gold tones. And thats how she got this white blonde color, and I don’t like it, I LOVE it!
I picked a simple summery outfit and accessories to complete the look. My top is from this amazing hippie vibes brand called ‘Title Unknown’, vintage Levis shorts, Unisa espradilles, Chanel sunnies and Marc Jacobs bag.

There is no secret that the greatest final touches for a perfect outfit is layering. Well, in this simple outfits I decided to layer with jewelry. But this is no ordinary jewelry, the pieces are specially handcrafted, molded, designed and created by a jewelry artist and artisan. Making everything from scratch, from getting the silver in small bites, melting it on clay spoons at hight temperatures, sculpturing the figures, cutting, filing, etc. This jewels are a piece of art, the real deal, not manufactured by machines. These are special, they have heart and soul. elAura Store, the name of the store by jewelry designer, Laura Jackson. I introduce you guys to this beautiful work of art. I’m absolutely in love with my gorgeous ‘Olvine Playsuit’ from online store http://www.orchidsandspice.com This store carries really fun, and unique pieces, it has a mix of boho vibes and retro style. The playsuit that I am wearing has a soft fabric and flows nicely with the summer breeze. Also, I am into a lot of basic and neutral colors right now, so this piece is perfect because it captures exactly the kind of clothing I usually go for.
Pulling this pretty playsuit was easy, I just added my fave wool felt hat, hemp wedges from Sam Edelman, and round sunnies from Vintage Clothing. I am carrying an Arhuacan Mochila, made by the Arhuacans, Colombian Indigenous. My silver dachshund necklace is from a local jewelry designer @elaurastore.
I had a lot of fun shooting this outfit, it was a gorgeous day! Enjoy. Xx.

Last year around this time, I colored my hair pink. This year I want to go for something different as well, I have my thoughts on a baby blue or maybe blonder, or maybe pastel purple?.
I don’t know, all I know is that when I want to change my hair, is because there’s also change happening to me, so is a way of expressing those changes. Here are some photos of my pastel pink hair. My hair colorist dyed my hair blonde and then applied crazy color the name is ‘ Cotton Candy’. The good thing about crazy color is that is made of vegetable ink so it doesn’t damage or permanently dyes your hair. Whenever you are ready to go back to your hair color it would be easy and simple.
As a painter having the pleasure to put your hands on a Louis Vuitton Bag and create art with it is amazing. I got to combine two of my favorite things in life: Art & Fashion.
I had this bag for a long time before I was able to put my hands on it. I was hesitant, I didn’t wanted to ruin it, or even worse, I didn’t know if the owner of the bag, my client, was going to love it. But I set my mind, and my creativity started to flow. I wanted something bold and beautiful, edgy and sexy at the same time.
So I started walking around my house, to get inspired by things, obejects and stuff, when I saw the Rolling Stones Book, and rambled thru the pages. The ‘Licks’ Tour caught my eye. And well, hello to the new LV bag ‘Licks’ by IndiGa leyiAh.
